Erik has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus in asset management sales and distribution. Prior to joining Harborside in 2010, Mr. Ranson was employed by Legg Mason as a Senior Product Specialist for Legg Mason Funds. Previously, Mr. Ranson was with Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. as a Wealth Manager in the retail channel.

Mr. Ranson has a BS from Salisbury University with dual concentrations in Finance and Management and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and earned the Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC) designation. He maintains Series 7 and 66 licenses.
